March 17th, 2013 – I drew feathers because Christina was talking about birds. She does AMAZING bird drawings… nothing like these feathers. We were also talking about our kids, so she drew rainbows.
This was part of the ONE HOUR COLLABORATIVE COMBATIVE COFFEE (or tea) SESSION Project in which I invited other artists to ‘work out’ ideas or problems we may both share in our practices. We discuss our work and the challenges we face in our practice, ranging from time, space, material or financial limitations to mental blocks in our creative process. We each come up with a visual representation for one of our artistic blocks and combat draw with each other.
